Never underestimate Russian President Vladimir Putin. Instead of avoiding a thorny question about the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Aleksei Navalny that came up during his annual press conference Thursday, Putin answered it head-on. But, in claiming that new, highly damning evidence of the involvement of his FSB in the poisoning came from American special services, Putin seems to have entered a rabbit hole, because he was forced to admit that the FSB was following Navalny. As Navalny said in a tweet: “Putin admitted everything…It is impossible to deny our solid, concrete evidence.” The identities of FSB officers who were allegedly […]

The United Kingdom, Australia, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and South Africa are among the nations teaching Mandarin in their government-run schools, China’s Vice Minister of Education, Tian Xuejun, said Monday, the state-run China Global Television Network (CGTN) reported Wednesday. “So far, over 4,000 colleges across the globe have set up Chinese language [Mandarin] courses in their curriculum. Multiple sources are claiming Supreme Court Justice John Roberts is an “anti-Trumper” who is actively working to ensure President Trump isn’t re-elected. A video going viral online shows Arizona State Senator Eddie Farnsworth citing a Supreme Court staffer who allegedly heard SCOTUS judges yelling behind closed doors during a heated argument. Farnsworth describes a statement made by a “Current staffer for one of the Supreme Court Justices.” “He said the justices, as they always do, went into a closed room to discuss cases or to debate,” Farnsworth explained. “There are no phones, no computers, no nothing. Authored by Stephen Green via PJMedia.com, A pair of gunshot deaths that counted among COVID fatalities have earned the ire of a county coroner in Colorado. Grand County, in the sparsely-populated (but breathtaking) northwestern quarter of the state, is home to fewer than 15,000 people and has been lucky enough to endure only a handful of deaths related to the Wuhan Virus. But of those five deaths, County Coroner Brenda Bock says two actually died of gunshot wounds. Bock sounded furious in her interview with CBS4 News in Denver, and with good reason. Grand County’s economy is heavily reliant on tourism, and as […]

Community members in California are upset after their local city council called the “thin blue line” flag a racist symbol. Upset at the city council’s declaration, these community members decided to protest by waving the pro-law enforcement flag in downtown Livermore, California, KTVU reported. Last week, a Livermore city council committee deemed the “thin blue line” flag, along with the Confederate flag, racist symbols. The committee — comprised of community members and council members — was conducting an “inventory of racist symbols.” The city council committee’s reasoning for taking inventory of these symbols had to do with making sure only inclusive symbols were displayed […]

As tens of thousands of doses of the new Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine make their way across the country, some health workers – first on the list to receive the two-stage jab – are leery of the emerging treatment which mainstream pundits warned would take a ‘miracle‘ to produce before the end of the year. And while public concerns over the vaccine have eased compared to polling conducted before the November election, a not-insignificant number of health workers are unwilling to take the shot. Perhaps they’re concerned about taking the fastest vaccine developed in Western history, developed to treat a mysterious new […]

The Palestinian Authority's decision to send its ambassadors back to the UAE and Bahrain stems from the fact that it has found itself isolated amid the wave of normalisation sweeping across the Arab world. The ambassadors were withdrawn in protest when the pair of Gulf States signed normalisation deals with Israel in September. The UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, expressed his optimism at the PA's move, which suggests, he believes, that the authority is accepting the so-called "Abraham Accords". This was rejected by Riyad Al-Maliki, the PA Minister of Foreign Affairs, who stressed that sending the ambassadors […]

In rare new comments in response to widespread allegations from the West that Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny was poisoned by Kremlin agents, President Vladimir Putin told reporters at a major annual news conference Thursday that he simply wasn’t important enough to be a target. “It’s a trick to attack the leaders (of Russia),” Putin said. “But that absolutely does not mean he needs to be poisoned,” he noted. “Who needs him?” And in perhaps the most provocative and mocking statement, Putin added, “If someone had wanted to poison him they would have finished him off.” Throughout the comments Putin avoided mentioning Navalny directly by […]

It’s the birthright of every generation to rebel against its forebears. So how can young people today define themselves as different from their phone-obsessed, digital-native parents? By donning Little House on the Prairie dresses, baking pies and cavorting with fairies. The cottagecore aesthetic has become popular with Gen Z, but what many don’t realize is how this trend actually finds its roots in sustainability. According to the Urban Dictionary, cottagecore is “a niche aesthetic based around the visual culture of an idealized life on a Western farm. Common themes include sustainability, gardens, farm animals, rural living and nature.” That makes this […]

Addressing one of the more pressing topics to emerge from the current wave of covid infections, in a report published this morning Goldman’s John Marshall says that fears of overcrowded hospitals are overblown and predicts that “the first wave of vaccinations has the potential to have a significant impact on total US COVID-19 related hospitalizations.” More importantly, after modeling the impact of the vaccine rollout, he expects that covid hospitalizations in the next month will tumble and drop to near zero by the end of January. As the Goldman analyst notes, “while vaccination of the broad population will have important implications […]
(Natural News) Vitamins are nutrients found in food that help the body function effectively. Two types of vitamins exist: Water-soluble vitamins, such as vitamins B and C, dissolve in water, while fat-soluble ones dissolve in fat. Fat-soluble vitamins, such as vitamins A, D, E and K, are best absorbed by the body when eaten with foods containing high amounts of fat. Fat-soluble vitamins can also be obtained from other sources besides foods. Vitamin D, for instance, is naturally produced by the body when skin is exposed to the sun. People can also take vitamin supplements to help them meet their daily requirements. But what particular […]

When Mark and Kate approached Brunswick-based firm MRTN Architects to design a new, energy-efficient home for their family of five in Fairfield, they brought with them a wealth of design ideas that included memories of family farm visits and the eco-friendly Alistair Knox houses that they had considered purchasing previously. The resulting home — dubbed the Good Life House — thoughtfully integrates those stylistic influences into a contemporary design that also references the Californian Bungalow and Arts and Crafts houses typical to the Fairfield suburb. Sustainability also informed many design choices, from the use of heat pump technologies to passive design […]
