Idiotic Black Lives Matter supporters have vandalized a statue of a slave fleeing with her infant daughter outside a black church in New Albany. The faces on the statue were painted red, similar to what we have seen done to statues of Confederate generals and Christopher Columbus, and tagged with “BLM.” Ironically though, the statue at the nearly 170-year-old Second Baptist Church is of former slave Lucy Higgs Nichols, escaping slavery with her baby. Tucker Carlson has been on fire lately. In a recent opening monologue, he went off on the people who are toppling monuments and noted that they don’t even know who they are attacking, and that they have no knowledge of American history. Wednesday morning, a Change.org petition circled the internet calling to “Have TikTok remove any content involving the ‘George Floyd challenge!!’” The page featured a disturbing layout collage, cropped to reveal only the bottom two photos. In each, two white guys mugged for the camera, as one knelt on the other’s neck—both mocking the murder of George Floyd, who died after a Minneapolis cop knelt on his windpipe for eight minutes and 46 seconds.
