The legendary VH-3 Sea King Presidential transport helicopter, better known as Marine One, is one step closer to its retirement, according to the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command. In a statement Friday, the Naval Air Systems Command said the Fleet Readiness Center East recently completed work on the last T58-GE-400B presidential helicopter engine supporting the Marines at Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) who provide executive transport of the President, Vice President, Cabinet, and foreign dignitaries.
